I left the States in 2003 to live in Prague. I became heavily involved with the rent-boy scene there. I blew all my money in 6 months. I went back to the States to get more money, came back to Prague, and got even more involved with male prostitution. This blog is my unexpurgated diary.

Praga

Praga (/prɑːɡ/ PRAHG; Czech: Praha [ˈpraɦa] (listen); German: Prag, pronounced [pʁaːk] (listen); Latin: Praga) is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, the 13th largest city in the European Union^[9] and the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated on the Vltava river, Prague is home to about 1.3 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of 2.7 million.^[4] The city has a temperate oceanic climate, with relatively warm summers and chilly winters. Prague is a political, cultural, and economic centre of central Europe complete with a rich history. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque eras, Prague was the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia and the main residence of several Holy Roman Emperors, most notably of Charles IV (r. 1346–1378).^[10]

For our purposes, Prague is also well known for its legal prostitution. Foreigners visit and live there to take advantage of this situation. The Czech policy is hands off, but I was very hands on.

The writing

I’ll be reprinting my original one-million-word blog, tentatively retitled as The Business of Sex, the Downfalls of Love, at the rate of about five posts per week. I’ll be adding sometimes explosive, sometimes supplemental, but always interesting new material. I’ll be writing about the stuff that nobody knew.
