A First

Prague’s first snow fell on me while I was sleeping under a tree in Stromovka. It was so beautiful, so calm and quiet, creating a mood so different from most of the rest of the moments in my life right now. I didn’t feel miserable; I didn’t feel sorry for myself. Rather, I felt lucky to see it and to be in it. No one else was around, the bright white of the snow was making it seem lighter than it was and . . .
